So little time...

One day I really will make an effort to write more.  For now I am focused on getting my body back in shape and loving on my little boys...oh, on the big one, too...but honestly, I'm really too tired for him these days. ;-)

Please enjoy this video of Finny Finn in the tub being just as cute as can be. It's just over a minute long.  He's become quite a vocal baby...kind of have to be to survive in this family!
This next video is about a minute and a half long.  I made a "practice pinata" for Littleman's upcoming birthday party.  I am glad I made a practice one, as you will soon see why.  I used plaster instead of paper mache...and well...as awesome as the spiderman head came out, it never opened, no matter how hard he smashed it.  It was fun, though.  Next one will be paper mache.

Seriously...

Okay so I wrote this wicked long catch-up post...and the stinking computer froze when I uploaded the pictures! It is five to midnight, so, I am sorry folks, the pics and a tiny catch-up are all you're going to get.

Briefly, things are good.  I have spent the last eight months in a bit of a baby fog - enjoying motherhood...and at times getting a little lost there.  I am coming back, like a submarine slowly rising to the surface.

Finn is wonderful.  He turned eight months old yesterday. He's sitting up on his own (falling over, but getting stronger every day), eating (very selective) finger foods, babbling (lots of da da das), chasing Liam in the walker, loving bathtime and the swings, and being the snuggliest, heavenliest smelling baby around. He recently enjoyed a trip to Arizona. He was an angel on the airplane and even dealt with the time change fairly well. I posted pics of our wonderful trip on Facebook and I am simply too tired to post them here...sorry.

Liam has been a bit challenging.  He is a mini version of ME so I find we are butting heads...and Bill has had to give me refresher lessons on discipline.  I hate to do it, but the little bugger needs it...I'm working on it. We are both so passionate and emotional about...well...everything.  Liam needs a little help in figuring out which things to chill about (a stubbed toe, or giving someone a turn first) and which things to explode over: balloon festival in Dallas - see pics below.  Otherwise, Liam remains the hilarious, loving, silly, sweet boy he has always been.

Daddy took some pictures in the backyard today.

Oh...and here's a helicopter that was lifting air-conditioning units over to the elementary school being built down the street. It looked like it was going to land in our yard!
